Anita Stewart, (2 July 194729 October 2020) was a Canadian culinary author and food activist.

Biography

Stewart was also the founder of Food Day Canada, the largest national culinary celebration in Canadian history. In 2011, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada. Up until her death, she served as Food Laureate of the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph. She died on 29 October 2020, aged 73.
