(ECB). In April 2014, as part of a reorganisation of Cricket Scotland that saw Grant Bradburn appointed head coach, Tennant was named director of cricket, in charge of "all strategic and operational cricketing matters". In September 2022, he was appointed head coach of Sunrisers.
