Career

After graduating from Wharton in 1991, Wyant worked in management consulting for the

(BCG) After BCG, Wyant joined the Specialty Foods Corporation in 1993 where he served as Executive Vice President of Metz Baking Company. In 1997, he became President of Natural Golf Corporation, and was still in this leadership position when the company completed an IPO on the American Stock Exchange in 2003 In 2007, Wyant joined the start-up LifeLock where he served as the head of marketing and was responsible for the growth and development of the LifeLock CEO's social security marketing campaign. Controversy over the Lifelock campaigns let to significant FTC settlements while the company grew from $18.9 million in sales in 2007 to $193.9 million in 2011 under Wyant's marketing leadership. LifeLock was sold to Norton Symantec for $2.3 billion in 2016. Wyant was named the President of the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2011 and led the company to 25% a year revenue growth. In 2019, Wyant joined ISSA as its president and CEO and has led it to a 126% growth rate and a place in the Inc 5000 list. In 2021, ISSA was acquired by Tailwind Capital in a transaction advised by Harris Williams. In 2022, under Wyant's leadership, ISSA was ranked within the top twenty Best Places to Work in 2022 by the Phoenix Business Journal.


Speaking and writing

Wyant is a frequent speaker on storytelling and story building to entrepreneurs such as EO Arizona. Wyant has been featured on numerous podcasts on medical fitness and spoken on aging, including in the Wall Street Journal. Wyant has also written on topics regarding health and fitness training for the Medical Fitness Network.


Awards

Wyant received the Gold Stevie Award as 2009 Marketing Executive of the Year from the American Business Awards for his work on the LifeLock campaign and was a recipient of an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2014. Wyant was named as 2022 CEO of the Year by Globee International.
