Aleph Yodh He () was an American professional medical fraternity for Jewish students. It went dormant in 1921 when it merged with Phi Lambda Kappa.


History

Aleph Yodh He formed in 1908 at the
Chicago College of Medicine and Surgery Stritch School of Medicine is the medical school affiliated with Loyola University Chicago. It is located at the heart of the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. The medical campus includes Foster G. McGaw Hospital, Joseph Bern ...
. It operated with three divisions: Aleph Yodh He in the east, Phi Lambda Kappa in the West, and Zeta Mu Phi in the Midwest. Its publication was ''Medic'', which was published quarterly starting in January 1915. At a convention in Chicago in December1921, these three divisions merged into Phi Lambda Kappa, discontinuing the use of the name Aleph Yodh He.Shepard, Francis W., ed. (1927).
