Al-Zahrani, al-Zahrani or Alzahrani ( ar, الزهراني) is a surname in Saudi Arabia belonging to the royal Zahran tribe. The Zahran tribe is one of the oldest and largest Arab tribes. They dominated the world in the pre-Islamic times and even after Islam. They were the first Arab kings over Iraq, Oman, the Levant, Andalusia and Persia. They’ve also helped Al Saud establish Saudi Arabia as they were a strong ally along with other tribes making Saudi Arabia the only Arab country that has never been colonized by any European power.
