History

The village is believed to be founded in 1600s when a man named Aktuk and four of his brothers, Uraz, Antar, Kızım and Kadım moved to the area. They settled near each other and formed villages and named them after themselves. The names are close to original to this day; Aktuk/Yañapar, Urazawıl, Atarawıl, Kızımawıl ja Kadımawıl. Some sources claim that only Aktuk, Uraz and Antar were brothers and the others were related some other way. The alternative name to Aktuk, ''Yañapar'', means "New Par". It is believed that the predecessor to Aktuk might have been a

Population

According to 2002 census, 94% of the village's inhabitants were Tatars. In 2010, the number of inhabitants was 253.
