Woodbury was a top-50 recruit coming out of high school. As a freshman at Iowa, he posted 4.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game and had similar numbers as a sophomore as the Hawkeyes reached the NCAA Tournament. Woodbury averaged 6.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game as a starter for every game except one which he let
