Indiana University, where he met his future wife, Florence Leona Scott (November 30, 1887 – January 12, 1960), and was graduated in 1903.

Seattle, and they had a son and two daughters: Madison Scott Beeler, Elizabeth Beller, and Virginia Jean Beeler.
Beeler had served in the
Washington House of Representatives from 1922 until 1928. In 1932, Beeler resigned his court seat to run for
United States Senate, and after losing the primary he was considered in November 1932 as a replacement to
Wesley Livsey Jones, following his death.
