History

The '' Daily Post'' has referred to the A5025 as "one of the deadliest roads in North Wales". The stretch between Cemaes on the coast and Llanynghenedl in particular has a notorious reputation on the isle for accidents, claiming three lives in just nine months in the late 2000s. Just before Christmas 2002 a 12-year-old school girl was killed in a car accident near Dulas. The speed limit of the road varies between , but locals have criticised the limit in several of the areas. In July 2015 it was announced that several alterations would be made to the road and improvements carried out in anticipation of the (now cancelled) building of a new £8 billion nuclear plant at
