that took place between 1 and 6 April 2024 in the Basque region in northern Spain and southern France. It was the 63rd edition of the Tour of the Basque Country and the 15th race of the 2024 UCI World Tour.

among others. Due to this, the peloton was neutralized for the remainder of the stage, and GC times were not taken at the finish. However, the breakaway of six riders were permitted to continue on and contest the stage win.
