Previous season

The Anteaters finished the 2022–23 season 25–7, 16–2 in Big West play to finish as Big West regular season champions. As the #1 seed in the Big West tournament, they were upset by #9 seed Cal State Bakersfield in the quarterfinals. They received an automatic bid into the WNIT, where they would defeat San Diego State in the first round, before falling to San Diego in the second round.
