The 2023–24 Nemzeti Bajnokság II (also known as 2023–24 Merkantil Bank Liga for sponsorship reasons) is Hungary's 73rd season of the Nemzeti Bajnokság II, the second tier of the
Hungarian football league system.
Overview
After the reduction from 20 teams, this will be the first and last season with 18 teams as for 2023–24, the league will transform to 16 teams from 2024–25.
