According to the ISPR, the area is being cleansed to get rid of any terrorists that may be present. At the Peshawar Garrison, where Corps Commander Peshawar, civic officials, and military, as well as a sizable crowd of people, attended the funeral prayers for the murdered soldiers. The military has reaffirmed its commitment to putting an end to terrorism and said that the sacrifices made by its members only serve to bolster that commitment.
