The 2022–23 season was Al-Ahli's first season in the Saudi First Division League following their relegation from the Pro League last season in their 86th year in existence. It was also their first season in the second tier of Saudi football since the formation of the club. The season covered the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.
