Each of these infield sections use a separate portion of the tri-oval to complete the track. During regular non-race weekends, multiple clubs can use the track by running on different infield sections. Also some of the infield sections can be run in either direction, or multiple infield sections can be put together – such as running the North Course and the South Course and using the tri-oval to connect the two.

Open practice

An open session practice session of five hours would start on Thursday, June 24 at 9:00 AM EST. The practice was optional to any ARCA driver competing in the race. Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing would set the fastest time in the session with a 52.967 and an average speed of .

Qualifying

Qualifying was held on Friday, June 25 at 4:00 PM EST. The qualifying session was a timed session. Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing would win the pole, setting a lap time of 52.393 and an average speed of . No drivers would fail to qualify- but, due to Van Alst's practice crash, he would not set a lap in qualifying, nor compete in the race.
