The 2018 California State Board of Equalization elections were held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. The primary elections was held on June 5, 2018. All four seats on the State Board of Equalization were contested. The board's members serve four-year terms and are limited to serving two terms. A nonpartisan blanket primary was used for the election, starting with the primary in June. The top-two primary finishers in each district, regardless of party, advanced to the general election in November. Republicans lost one seat to the Democrats, leaving only one Republican board member remaining.
