Format

The 2017 CWL Global Pro League consisted of 2 Stages, with 16 teams from
North America North America is a continent in the Northern Hemisphere and almost entirely within the Western Hemisphere. It is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, to the southeast by South America and the Car ...
, Europe and the APAC region participating. The 16 teams were split into 4 different pools with the top 2 teams from each pool advancing to playoffs. The top 3 teams from each pool advanced to Stage 2, while the fourth place team had to go to the relegation playoffs.


Stage 1

A total of $700,000 prize money was given out during Stage 1. All 16 teams received $12,500 for participating while the 8 teams which qualified for playoffs played for another $500,000. Group Red Group Blue Group Yellow Group Green

Relegation

The 4 bottom teams from Stage 1 participated in the relegation tournament against 4 other teams in a double-elimination bracket for the final 4 spots in Stage 2.


Stage 2
