. The season marks the second season for the Golden Hurricane as members of the American Athletic Conference. The Golden Hurricane, led by fifth year head coach Matilda Mossman, plays their home games at the Reynolds Center. They finished the season 12–19, 8–10 AAC play to finish in sixth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the American Athletic women's tournament where they lost to Temple.
