On August 20, he was placed on the injured list with left elbow discomfort. Four days later, he was transferred to the 60–day injured list, ending his season. In 30 appearances for Pittsburgh, he posted a 3.72 ERA with 44 strikeouts in 29.0 innings of work. On October 6, Perdomo underwent Tommy John surgery, ruling him out for the entirety of the 2024 season. Following the season on November 2, Perdomo was removed from the 40–man roster and sent outright to Triple–A Indianapolis.

Atlanta Braves
