Ženski košarkaški klub Crvena zvezda ( sr-cyrl, Женски кошаркашки клуб Црвена звезда, en, Red Star Women Basketball Club), commonly referred to as ŽKK Crvena zvezda or simply Crvena zvezda, is a women's professional basketball Sports club, club based in Belgrade, Serbia and the major part of the SD Crvena Zvezda, Red Star multi-sports club. Crvena zvezda competes in the EuroCup Women and in the First Women's Basketball League of Serbia, Basketball League of Serbia. The Crvena zvezda squads have won a record 32 National League championships, including 15-in-a-row and 6-in-a-row sequences. First Women's Basketball League Of Serbia
The First Women's Basketball League of Serbia ( sr, Прва женска лига Србије, Prva ženska liga Srbije; abbr. ПЖЛС or PŽLS), is a top-tier women's professional basketball league in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). The league is divided into two parts. The first part of the play all the clubs who have won a place in it. In the second part, called the playoffs, they play eight first clubs from the first division. The Ronchetti Cup (called till 1996 ''European Cup Liliana Ronchetti'') was an annual women’s basketball European club competition held by FIBA between the years 1972 and 2002. It was the second competition in European basketball, after the European Cup For Women’s Champions Clubs (later renamed EuroLeague Women). It was replaced in 2002 by the EuroCup Women which is the absolute equivalent. United Nations Security Council resolution 757 was adopted on 30 May 1992. After reaffirming resolutions 713 (1991), 721 (1991), 724 (1991), 727 (1992), 740 (1992) 743 (1992), 749 (1992) and 752 (1992), the Council condemned the failure of the authorities in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) to implement Resolution 752. The Yugoslav Wars were a series of separate but related#Naimark, Naimark (2003), p. xvii. ethnic conflicts, wars of independence, and Insurgency, insurgencies that took place in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, SFR Yugoslavia from 1991 to 2001. TTT Rīga is a professional women's basketball club based in Riga, Latvia. "TTT" means Tram and Trolley Trust. The team held its first official game on 5 November 1958. The next 25 years are known as the ''First Golden age'' of the club. Internationally, the club was also known as Daugava Riga, due to the fact that Daugava was the predecessor of TTT Riga in the 1950s. MTK (basketball Team)
MTK is the basketball branch of Hungarian sports club ''Magyar Testgyakorlók Köre''. Women's branch MTK women's basketball team was founded is 1945, the other successor Vörös Meteor was founded in 1949, they merged in 1975 under the name MTK-VM. They dominated the Hungarian Championship through the 1960s with 9 titles between 1960 and 1970 (7 MTK and 2 Vörös Meteor).
