ŠNK Bakovci
Športno nogometni klub Bakovci ( en, Bakovci Sports Football Club), commonly referred to as ŠNK Bakovci or simply Bakovci, is a Slovenian football club from the village of Bakovci. Their main colours are red and white. They currently play in the 1. MNL, the fifth tier of the Slovenian football pyramid. The club was established in 1953. Their home ground is ŠRC Bakovci ('' sl, Športno rekreacijski center Bakovci'') with a seating capacity for 500 spectators. The 2015–16 Slovenian Third League began on 22 August 2015 and ended on 29 May 2016 with playoffs being played on 4 and 8 June 2016. Competition format and rules The 2015–16 Slovenian Third League was divided into four regional groups with a total of 52 participating clubs. Three groups (i.e. North, Centre, East) were composed of 14 clubs, while the group West only had 10 clubs that were participating in the competition. The winners of the regular season in each group played a promotional two-legged play-offs to decide which two teams promoted to the Slovenian Second League. The Slovenian Second Football League ( sl, Druga slovenska nogometna liga or commonly 2. SNL) is the second highest Association football, football league in Slovenia. The league was formed in 1991 and is operated by the Football Association of Slovenia. Format and rules In its inaugural season (1991–92 Slovenian Second League, 1991–92), the Slovenian Second League was divided into two regional groups (East and West), with both winners directly promoted to the Slovenian PrvaLiga.
