Łada (river)
The Łada (in its upper course the ) is a river, the right tributary of the Tanew; it flows from the Western Roztocze through the Biłgoraj Plain in the Lublin Voivodeship, in the counties of Janów and Biłgoraj, and a short distance in the Nisko County (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). The Łada flows out as the Biała Łada (formerly the ) in the village of Chrzanów Pierwszy (part of the village of Chrzanów, Lublin Voivodeship). Near the town of Sól (Biłgoraj County), the river receives its largest (left) tributary, the Czarna Łada (formerly the ), and becomes known as the Łada. The length of the Łada (from the source of the Biała Łada) is 56.5 km. It flows from north to south and passes through Goraj, Wola Radzięcka and the town of Biłgoraj. Biłgoraj County
Biłgoraj County ( pl, powiat biłgorajski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lublin Voivodeship, eastern Poland. It was established on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Biłgoraj, which lies south of the regional capital Lublin. The county contains three other towns: Tarnogród, lying south of Biłgoraj, Józefów, lying east of Biłgoraj, and Frampol, north of Biłgoraj. The county covers an area of . Gmina Aleksandrów is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Biłgoraj County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Aleksandrów, which lies approximately south-east of Biłgoraj and south of the regional capital Lublin. Biłgoraj ( yi, בילגאריי, ''Bilgoray'', ua, Білґорай) is a town in south-eastern Poland with 25,838 inhabitants as of December 2021. Since 1999 it has been situated in Lublin Voivodeship; it was previously located in Zamość Voivodeship (1975–1998). It is located south of Lublin and it is also the capital of Biłgoraj County. Goraj, Lublin Voivodeship
Goraj is a town in Biłgoraj County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Goraj. It lies in historic Lesser Poland, approximately north of Biłgoraj and south of the regional capital Lublin. The village has a population of 1,048. It was granted town rights in the 14th century, lost them in 1869 and it granted them again in 2021.
