Černá (river)
The Schwarzwasser (in German) or Černá (in Czech) is a river in Germany and the Czech Republic. The name means 'black'. It is a right tributary of the Zwickauer Mulde in the German state of Saxony. It flows through Schwarzenberg. Schwarzenberg, Saxony
Schwarzenberg is a town in the district of Erzgebirgskreis in Saxony’s Ore Mountains, near the German–Czech border. The town lies roughly 15 km southeast of Aue, and 35 km southwest of Chemnitz. Founded in the 12th century to protect a trade road, the small mountain town became the centre of a territory known as '' Herrschaft Schwarzenberg'' and later ''Amt Schwarzenberg''. During the division of Germany, Schwarzenberg was part of East Germany and became the greatest producer of washing machines in Eastern Europe. Schwarzenberg became more widely known in 1987, when Stefan Heym coined the term Free Republic of Schwarzenberg for a small gap between the Soviet and American occupation zones in May/June 1945. Myslivny Reservoir
Myslivny (german: Försterhäuser) is a locality within the territory of Boží Dar in the Czech Republic. It is formed by few scattered houses and the Myslivny Reservoir. Location Myslivny lies at a height of 950–970 metres above the sea level on the highlands of the upper Ore Mountains. The locality, which is 2 kilometres northwest of the Božídarský Špičák mountain on the Černá creek between Boží Dar and Horní Blatná is surrounded by high forest and was formerly a popular summer retreat and winter sports resort. Johanngeorgenstadt
Johanngeorgenstadt () is a mining town in Saxony’s Ore Mountains, 17 km south of Aue, and 27 km northwest of Karlovy Vary. It lies in the district of Erzgebirgskreis, on the border with the Czech Republic, is a state-recognized health resort (''Erholungsort''), and calls itself ''Stadt des Schwibbogens'' (“Schwibbogen Town”). Its population decline since the 1950s has been extremely severe falling from 45,000 residents in 1953 to only about one tenth of that now. Zwickauer Mulde
The Zwickauer Mulde () is a river in Saxony, Germany. It is the left tributary of the Mulde and in length. The source of the river is in the Ore Mountains, near Schöneck, in the Vogtlandkreis. It runs northeast to Aue, then northwest to Zwickau (hence the name), and further north through Glauchau, Rochlitz and Colditz. A few kilometers north of Colditz, the Zwickauer Mulde is joined by the Freiberger Mulde to form the united Mulde. The Mulde is a tributary of the Elbe.
