Ćalije
Ćalije ( sr-cyr, Ћалије) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. Ćalije is the southernmost neighborhood in the municipality, located in the western part of the field ''Višnjičko polje'', stretching along the ''Mirijevski Bulevar'' on both sides of the ''Mirijevski potok'' stream. It borders the neighborhoods of Karaburma and Rospi Ćuprija to the north, Zvezdara to the west and Mirijevo to the south. It is mostly a residential area with the population of 6,323 in 2002. Mirijevo ( sr-cyrl, Миријево, ) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Zvezdara. One of the largest single neighborhoods in Europe, consists of several sub-neighborhoods (Staro & Novo Mirijevo, Mirijevo II-IV, etc.) Location and geography Mirijevo is located 11 kilometers east of downtown Belgrade, on the eastern outskirts of Belgrade's urban zone. Zvezdara
Zvezdara ( sr-cyr, Звездара, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. The municipality is geographically hilly and with many forests. According to the 2011 census results, the municipality has a population of 148,014 inhabitants. The municipality of Zvezdara is located east of Belgrade and occupied almost the entire eastern urban section of the city. Karaburma ( sr-cyr, Карабурма) is an List of Belgrade neighborhoods, urban neighborhood of the municipality of Palilula Belgrade, Palilula, Belgrade, Serbia. As of 2002, it has a population of 55,343 inhabitants. Name The name, Karaburma, is Turkish language, Turkish for ''black ring'' which is supposed to mean that the area was forbidden, that is, it should be avoided by people. Rospi Ćuprija
Rospi Ćuprija ( Serbian Cyrillic: Роспи Ћуприја) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. The name comes from Ottoman Turkish ''(o)rospı(lı) köprü'' 'bridge of whores' because the high-ranking Turkish officer's harem women suspected of disloyalty (marital or otherwise) were murdered on the banks of the river.
