Þróttur Vogum
Ungmennafélagið Þróttur, commonly known as Þróttur Vogum, is an Icelandic sports club from the town of Vogar. Basketball Men's basketball in 2007, Þróttur men's team won the 2. deild karla and were promoted to the second-tier 1. deild karla. The following season, it finished last in the 1. deild karla and were relegated back to 2. deild karla. After not fielding a team for several seasons, Þróttur returned to the national tournament in 2020 and registered a team in the 3. deild karla. David Benjamin James MBE (born 1 August 1970) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His most recent position was manager at Kerala Blasters FC in the Indian Super League in 2018. He is also a pundit on Sky Sports football coverage. Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV) (pronounced or ) ( en, 'The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service') is Iceland's national public-service broadcasting organization. Hermann Hreiðarsson (born 11 July 1974) is an Icelandic former professional football player and coach. He played as a defender and spent 15 seasons in England, gaining a total of 315 appearances in the Premier League. Hermann was relegated from the Premier League five times, a record he holds jointly with Nathan Blake. Daníel Guðni Guðmundsson
Daníel Guðni Guðmundsson (born 17 November 1986) is an Icelandic basketball coach and a former player. During his playing career, he won the Icelandic Basketball Cup in 2014, and the Icelandic Super Cup three times, in 2004, 2006 and 2013. Playing career Daníel came up through the junior ranks of Njarðvík and appeared in his first senior games with the club during the 2004–2005 Úrvalsdeild karla season.
