The Östergötlands Fotbollförbund ''(Östergötland Football Association)'' is one of the 24 district organisations of the Swedish Football Association. It administers lower tier football in Östergötland County. Background Östergötlands Fotbollförbund, commonly referred to as Östergötlands FF, is the governing body for football in the county of Östergötland. The Association currently has 156 member clubs. Based in Linköping, the Association's Chairman is Gillis Persson. Linköping
Linköping () is a city in southern Sweden, with around 105,000 inhabitants as of 2021. It is the seat of Linköping Municipality and the capital of Östergötland County. Linköping is also the episcopal see of the Diocese of Linköping (Church of Sweden) and is well known for its cathedral. Linköping is the center of an old cultural region and celebrated its 700th anniversary in 1987. Dominating the city's skyline from afar is the steeple of the cathedral, Domkyrka. Idrottsklubben Sleipner is a sports club in Norrköping, Sweden; the main sports are football and ten-pin bowling. It was founded in 1903, and named after the deity Odin's horse Sleipnir from Norse mythology. Currently, the club's senior men's team plays football in Division 2. They are mostly known for winning Allsvenskan in 1938, but have since been overshadowed by local rivals IFK Norrköping both locally and nationally.
