Öreskoga
Öreskoga is a fictional town in Sweden, where most of the fictional novels and later TV Series Bert-diaries take place. The main character of the novels, Bert Ljung, lives in Öreskoga, at ''Klosterstigen 18''. In the books, he lives in a three floors high house with six flats, while he in the TV series live in a high-rise apartment building, similar to those in Hagalund. The name Öreskoga is a portmanteau of the hometowns of the authors of the Bert-diaries - Sören Olsson's hometown, Örebro, and Anders Jacobsson's hometown, Karlskoga. Öreskoga is located somewhere between Karlskoga-Örebro. Geography Outside Öreskoga is the lake of ''Nöckeln'', where Bert and his friends are swimming and bathing in the summertime. The Bert Diaries are a series of novels written in the form of a diary, by Swedish writers Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson. The main character is a Swedish teenager called Bert Ljung, living in Öreskoga, a fictional town in Sweden, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The first book came out in 1987. ''Berts vidare betraktelser'' ( sv, Bert's further contemplations) is a diary novel, written by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson and originally published in 1990 in literature, 1990. ''Berts dagbok'' ( sv, Bert's diary), translated as ''In Ned's Head'', is a diary novel, written by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson and originally published in 1987. It tells the story of Swedish fifth-grader Bert Ljung during the spring term from 14 January to 4 June the year he turns 12. Being the first of the ''Bert Diaries'', the term has later also become a term for the entire Bert Universe. Created to be older and tougher than Sune, the idea of writing as a diary novel was inspired by Barbro Lindgren's '' Världshemligt'', but during the Gothenburg Book Fair a person appeared, stating the concept had been taken from ''The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13¾''. The episodes were originally written during the spring of 1986 for SR Örebro. Olsson was originally supposed to read the chapters before Jacobsson took over. ''Berts bravader'' ( sv, Bert's exploits) is a diary novel written by Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson and originally published in 1991. It tells the story of Bert Ljung from 2 January to 1 January during the years he turns 14 and 15, covering the spring term in the 7th grade, the upcoming summer break, and the autumn term in the 8th grade. No specific calendar year almanac is used. As standard, Bert opens the chapters with the words "Tjena!" and finishes with "Tjena, tjena – mittbena". Bert writes diary for each week during this calendar year, not each day like the previous, but in turn the chapters are longer than in the Bert's betraktelser trilogy. Anders Jacobsson And Sören Olsson
Anders Jacobsson (born 1963) and Sören Olsson (born 1964) are two Sweden, Swedish-born cousins who are writers of children's literature and young adult fiction. They are best known for their books about Sune series, Sune and Bert diaries, Bert, but also Tuva-Lisa and Emanuel Hjort, Emanuel. They have also written the scripts of several television series. Their inspiration comes from their own youth, and talking to young adults (when visiting schools) and their own imagination. Sören Olsson has illustrated the Sune books and the first Bert book, while the other Bert books, in the old Bert book series, were illustrated by Sonja Härdin. Recordings and radio broadcasts consist of Anders reading Sune, and Sören reading Bert. The cousins have also created music together, as the act ''Hemliga byrån''.
