Óscar Ugarte
Óscar Raúl Ugarte Ubilluz (born 30 October 1944) is a Peruvian physician who is the current Minister of Health under President Francisco Sagasti since 13 February 2021. He previously held the position under President Alan GarcÃa from October 2008 to July 2011. Biography Born in eastern city of Pucallpa, Ugarte studied medicine at the National University of San Marcos, where he attained his medical doctor degree. Upon completing medical school, he earned a master of Public Policy from the University of Barcelona. Career In his professional career in the public health sector, Ugarte served as consultant for the United Nations Population Fund, and taught public health at the University of San MartÃn de Porres. Pucallpa (, qu, puka allpa, lit=red dirt; Shipibo language, Shipibo: ''May Ushin'') is a city in eastern Peru located on the banks of the Ucayali River, a major tributary of the Amazon River. Jorge Alfonso Alejandro Del Castillo Gálvez (born 2 July 1950) is a Peruvian lawyer and politician. In his career, he has served in the now abolished Peruvian Chamber of Deputies between 1990 and 1992, in the unicameral Congress of the Republic for six non-consecutive terms, between 1995 and 2011 and again from 2016 to 2019, five of which are consecutive terms, and as Mayor of Lima and the District of Barranco during the 1980s. The Peruvian Humanist Party ( es, Partido Humanista Peruano, PHP), formerly the (Peruvian Humanist Movement Party) is a humanist political party in Peru, and a former member of the Decentralization Coalition together with the Partido por la Democracia Social - Compromiso Perú.
