Ómar Torfason
Ómar Torfason (born 1 February 1959) is an Icelandic former professional footballer. He was part of the Iceland national football team, Icelandic men's national football team between 1981 and 1989. He played 39 matches, scoring 1 goal. He won the Úrvalsdeild karla (football), Icelandic championship three times, in 1981 and 1982 with Knattspyrnufélagið Víkingur, Víkingur, and in 1988 with Knattspyrnufélagið Fram, Fram. He won the Icelandic Men's Football Cup, Icelandic Cup with Fram in 1985 and 1989. In 1985 Úrvalsdeild, 1985 he was the Úrvalsdeild top scorer with 13 goals. Ísafjörður
Ísafjörður (pronounced , meaning ''ice fjord'', literally ''fjord of ices'') is a town in the northwest of Iceland. ''Morgunblaðið'' (, ''The Morning Paper'') is an Icelandic newspaper. ''Morgunblaðið''s website, mbl.is, is the most popular website in Iceland. History ''Morgunblaðið'' was founded by Vilhjálmur Finsen and Ólafur Björnsson, brother of Iceland's first president. The first issue, only eight pages long, was published on 2 November 1913. Valur Men's Basketball
The Valur men's basketball team, commonly known as Valur, is a basketball team based in Reykjavík, Iceland. It is part of the Valur multi-sport club. History The club was founded as ''Gosi'' on 25 December 1951 and was one of the founding members of the Icelandic men's top division. On 22 December 1957 the club changed its name to ''Körfuknattleiksfélag Reykjavíkur'' (English: Reykjavík Basketball Club) and played under that name until 1970. On 3 October 1970 the club merged into Valur sports club and became its basketball department. Jón Halldór Oddsson (born 25 January 1958) is an Icelandic former multi-sport athlete.
