Évert Erickson Wilmer Lengua Vergara (born 20 January 1983) is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a centre back. He currently plays for Cobresol in the Torneo Descentralizado. Club career Lengua played for Estudiantes de Medicina in the 2002 Torneo Descentralizado season. He played in Peruvian top-flight for the Ica based side until the end of the 2004 season. Then he joined Universidad César Vallejo in 2007. Then in 2008 he had a short spell with Segunda División side La Peña Sporting and later Copa Perú side Sport Huamanga. Pisco, Peru
Pisco ( qu, Pisqu) is a city located in the Department of Ica of Peru, the capital of the Pisco Province. The city is around 9 metres (28 feet) above sea level. Pisco was founded in 1640, close to the indigenous emplacement of the same name. Pisco originally prospered because of its nearby vineyards and became noted for its grape brandy or pisco which was exported from its port. Pisco has an estimated population of 104,656 (est. 2015). Ica, Peru
Ica () (Quechua: ''Ika'') is a city and the capital of the Department of Ica in southern Peru. While the area was long inhabited by varying cultures of indigenous peoples, the Spanish ''conquistador'' Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera claimed its founding in 1563. As of the 2017 census, it had a population of over 282,407. The city suffered extensive damage and loss of life during the 2007 Peru earthquake. The Copa Perú is a football tournament in Peru. Despite its name, it is not entirely an elimination-cup competition involving all Peruvian clubs, but rather a series of league tournaments leading to an elimination tournament, with regional league clubs as participants. It guarantees its winner promotion to the professional Liga 2. History In 1966, the First Division was named '' Descentralizado''; teams from outside the capital of Lima were allowed to participate in the professional first division. 2002 Torneo Descentralizado
The 2002 Torneo Descentralizado was the 86th season of the top category of Peruvian football (soccer). It was played by 12 teams. The national champion was Sporting Cristal. Competition modus The national championship was divided into two and half-year tournaments, the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura. Each was played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. The winners of each would play for the national title in a playoff, but a team had to finish in the top 4 in both tournaments to earn the right to play the final. If the same club had won both tournaments, it would have won the national championship automatically. Following-season Copa Libertadores berths went to each half-year tournament winner, and the best-placed team in the aggregate table.
