Élaine Ayotte is a Canadian politician and diplomat. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 1987. She then pursued a Master of Arts degree, also in Communications, at McGill University, which she completed in 1990. 2009 Montreal Municipal Election
The city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, held a municipal election at the same time as numerous other municipalities in Quebec, on November 1, 2009. Voters elected the Mayor of Montreal, Montreal City Council, and the mayors and councils of each of the city's boroughs. The election became plagued with allegations of corruption and mafia involvement in city contracts. Noovo is a Canadian French-language terrestrial television network owned by the Bell Media subsidiary of BCE Inc. TVA is a Canadian French-language terrestrial television network, owned by Groupe TVA, a publicly traded subsidiary of Quebecor Media. Headquartered in Montreal, the network only has terrestrial stations in Quebec.
