Åsa-Nisse På Mallorca
Åsa-Nisse is a Swedish literary character created by Stig Cederholm. The character first appeared in the weekly magazine Tidsfördrif in 1944, and later in a series of 20 films, produced between 1949 and 1969. In 1960 it also became a comic series, which is still produced and published periodically in its own magazine. A new Åsa-Nisse film was released in 2011. Concept The character Åsa-Nisse, literally ''Nils on the Ridge'' or ''Ridge-Nisse'', is a somewhat elderly man living with his wife ''Eulalia'' on a farm in the countryside village of Knohult in Småland. To the dismay of his wife, Åsa-Nisse never really seems to produce an honest days work, and instead his activities seem to focus on various antics where he is accompanied by his friend and side-kick ''Klabbarparn''. One of their favourite activities is poaching, while managing to stay one step ahead of the law, personified by the local policeman. Kjell Bergqvist
Kjell Bertil Leonard Bergqvist (born 23 February 1953 in Enskede, Stockholm County) is a Swedish actor. Bergqvist finished the Royal Dramatic Training Academy in 1973 and made his debut in '' En enkel melodi'' and ''Jack''. He has since cooperated for many years with scriptwriter and director Ulf Malmros. During the 1990s he has recorded several police films playing Martin Beck's colleague Lennart Kollberg. He played two different characters in the Swedish horror television series Chock in 1997. In 2001, he got a Guldbagge Award for his lead role in '' Den bästa sommaren'' and in 2002 he was nominated for the lead role Leif in ''Leva livet''. John Bertil Boo (16 January 1914 in Askersund – 20 July 1996 in Sundbyberg) was a Swedish singer.''Nationalencyclopedin'' biographical entry about Bertil Boo Bertil Boo grew up as the youngest of 15 siblings on a farm, which he took over after the death of his father. It was not until 1946, at the age of 32, that Boo became popular as a singer, when he sang the sentimental song ''Violer till mor'' (''Violets for Mother'') in the Swedish radio show ''Frukostklubben''. Boo had already recorded the song on the Sonora label, which at the time was one of the leading Swedish record labels, and after the performance on ''Frukostklubben'', ''Violer till mor'' sold 250,000 copies, which in 1946 was an extraordinarily high number.
