''Åmliavisa'' (The Åmli Gazette) is a local Norwegian weekly newspaper covering the municipality of Åmli in Aust-Agder county and neighboring areas. It was first published in March 2008. Ã…mli is a municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the traditional region of Sørlandet. The main population centre and administrative center is the village of Ã…mli which lies along the river Nidelva. Other villages in Ã…mli include Askland, Dølemo, Eppeland, Flaten, Hillestad, Homdrom, Lauveik, Nelaug, Øvre Ramse, Skjeggedal, Tveit, Vehus, and Ytre Ramse. The municipality is the 98th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Ã…mli is the 292nd most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 1,801. Nynorsk User Of The Year
Nynorsk User of the Year ( no, Årets nynorskbrukar) is a prize awarded by the Nynorsk Cultural Center at the Nynorsk Festival every year. The prize is awarded to the "persons or institutions that demonstrate the ability to break language and cultural conventions on the use of Nynorsk, which through their example or practical work make it easier to be Nynorsk users, or which create a greater general understanding of Nynorsk." Since 2006, the prize has consisted of NOK 50,000 and a graphic print, and on two occasions a copy of the game ''Dialektspelet''. In 2014, the prize was NOK 100,000, split equally between the two prize recipients. The competition is headed by the Nynorsk Cultural Center, which also serves as the jury. National Association Of Local Newspapers
The National Association of Local Newspapers ( no, Landslaget for lokalaviser, LLA) is a Norwegian association for local newspapers. The organization was established in Voss in 1976, and it works for its member companies' general conditions and interests. Among the first issues it dealt with was inclusion of the smallest local newspapers in the direct press support system, which occurred in 1989. The association is now a co-owner of the Norwegian Audit Bureau of Circulations, the company responsible for monitoring newspapers' circulation figures. These figures are the basis for receiving press subsidies. The association also represents its member companies in various government agencies and committees. The National Association of Local Newspapers is not a tariff organization, and therefore does not negotiate on behalf of its member companies.
