Åke Jönsson
Ã…ke Jönsson (26 June 1925 – 18 December 1998) was a Swedish association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. He made eleven appearances for the Sweden national football team, Sweden national team from 1951 to 1957. He was also part of Sweden's squad for the Football at the 1952 Summer Olympics, football tournament at the 1952 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. Helsingborgs IF
Helsingborgs IF (full name Helsingborgs Idrottsförening), commonly referred to as HIF (), is a Swedish professional football club located in Helsingborg. They play in the Swedish first tier, Allsvenskan, following promotion in the 2021 Superettan season via play-offs. Formed in 1907, the club has won five national championship titles and five national cup titles. Helsingborgs IF have also won Allsvenskan on two occasions when the title of Swedish champions was not decided by the outcome of that league. Helsingborg was a founder member of Allsvenskan, and between 1924 and 1968 they spent all but two seasons in the top division, and won the league five times. At the end of the 1968 season, HIF was relegated, and while most people initially expected a quick return, they went on to spend the next 24 seasons in the lower leagues before finally getting promoted back to the top flight in 1992. Sweden National Football Team
The Sweden national football team ( sv, svenska fotbollslandslaget) represents Sweden in men's international football and it is controlled by the Swedish Football Association, the governing body of football in Sweden. The Football tournament at the 1952 Summer Olympics was won by Hungary. The games signalled the arrival (to Western Europeans at least) of the Hungarian national football team – the "Magical Magyars".
