Åge Nigardsøy
Ã…ge Johan Nigardsøy (1954 – 20 October 2008) was a Norwegian organizational leader and disability rights activist. He was born in Bremanger, and moved to Trondheim after school. He was hired in the Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted, running a local radio station in Trondheim. He became active in the organization, and was elected deputy chairman in 1999. From 2001 to 2007 he chaired the organization. He stepped down because of illness, and died in October 2008. He was also a board member of the foundation which issues ''Klar Tale'' as well as the Norwegian Library of Talking Books and Braille until his death. Nigardsøy was married and had two sons. Bremanger
Bremanger is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village of Svelgen is the administrative centre of the municipality. Other villages include Bremanger, Berle, Davik, Isane, Kalvåg, Svelgen, Rugsund, and Ålfoten. Bremanger is the only municipality in Vestland, which is located in two districts. The northern and eastern parts comprising the villages of Oldeide, Berle, Rugsund, Davik, Isane, and Ålfoten is located in the Nordfjord region, while the villages of Bremanger, Kalvåg, Svelgen, Sørgulen, and Botnane are located in the Sunnfjord region. Trondheim
Trondheim ( , , ; sma, Tråante), historically Kaupangen, Nidaros and Trondhjem (), is a city and municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The Norwegian Association of the Blind (Norwegian: ''Norges Blindeforbund'') is the advocacy group for the blind and visually impaired in Norway. It is Norway's oldest association of the disabled. It has ca. 11,000 members as of 2015. Its headquarters is in Oslo, with regional offices in each county. Its general secretary has been Arnt Holte since January 1, 2016. ''Klar Tale'' (Clear Speech) is Norway's only easy-to-read newspaper. The newspaper tries to make the news understandable to all. The language is simple and the print is larger than in other newspapers. ''Klar Tale'' is published every week, with 12 pages of news and other current material from Norway and the world. The newspaper also has a Braille edition, is recorded on CD, and is available as a podcast. The company Mediehuset has editorial responsibility for the newspaper. Piano tuning is the act of adjusting the tension of the strings of an acoustic piano so that the musical intervals between strings are in tune. The meaning of the term 'in tune', in the context of piano tuning, is not simply a particular fixed set of pitches. Fine piano tuning requires an assessment of the vibration interaction among notes, which is different for every piano, thus in practice requiring slightly different pitches from any theoretical standard.
