Ã…dalen Aarhus
Ådalen is a green area and event site in Åbyhøj, in Aarhus, Denmark. It is about in size and located along the Aarhus River, two kilometers from the inner city. Ådalen can be reached by Søren Frichs Vej from the nearby Ring 1 ring road or the outer Ring 2 ring road. The area is surrounded by a business park (with light industry) and a total of three allotment gardens. Activities Ådalen has been used as event site for the NorthSide music festival since 2011, in agreement with Aarhus Municipality who owns the land. Outside of the festival period the area is primarily used for dog training grounds, association football, and recreational activities. Aarhus River
Aarhus River ( da, Århus Å) is a long river or stream, in eastern Jutland, Denmark. The river flows through the large river valley of Aarhus Ådal. The valley itself, stretches from Silkeborg to the coastal city of Aarhus, but the Aarhus River only runs through the easternmost parts. The river drains a basin of in the eastern part of Søhøjlandet and discharges into the Bay of Aarhus which is an embayment of the Kattegat. Ring 1 (Aarhus)
Ring 1, or ''Ringgaden'', is a ring road that surrounds the most central part of Aarhus, Denmark, roughly bounding the neighborhood of Midtbyen. It is part of the Danish national road network and is numbered O1, denoting a ring road. The total length of the road is about 8.8 km. Ring 2 (Aarhus)
Ring 2, or ''Ringvejen'', is the outermost ring road surrounding the city of Aarhus in Denmark. Geography Ring 2 bounds the outer neighborhoods of the central urban area. It is part of the Danish national road network and is numbered O2, the letter 'O' denoting it is a ring road. The total length of the road is about 14.5 km. Ring 2 is composed of 6 stretches of road, from ''Ringvej Syd'' in the South in Viby to ''Vejlby Ringvej'' in the North in Vejlby and Risskov. An allotment (British English), or in North America, a community garden, is a plot of land made available for individual, non-commercial gardening or growing food plants, so forming a kitchen garden away from the residence of the user. Such plots are formed by subdividing a piece of land into a few or up to several hundred parcels that are assigned to individuals or families. Such parcels are cultivated individually, contrary to other community garden types where the entire area is tended collectively by a group of people. NorthSide Festival (Denmark)
NorthSide Festival, or simply NorthSide, is a three-day music festival held every year in June in Aarhus, Denmark. It has three stages with rotating artists and several sideshow events and happenings. The first festival commenced in 2010 and since 2011, the festival has been held at Ådalen in Åbyhøj. The 2017 festival was attended by 40,000 people each day. The festival now goes by the name NorthSide to avoid confusion with the Northside Festival in Brooklyn. It is a privately owned festival, owned by Down The Drain Holding, who also owns the Tinderbox music festival in Odense and is shareholder in other music business activities in Denmark. Aarhus Municipality
Aarhus Municipality ( da, Aarhus Kommune), known as Århus Municipality ( da, Århus Kommune) until 2011, is a municipality in Central Denmark Region, on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. Dog training is the application of behavior analysis which uses the environmental events of antecedents (trigger for a behavior) and consequences to modify the dog behavior, either for it to assist in specific activities or undertake particular tasks, or for it to participate effectively in contemporary domestic life. Faubourg
"Faubourg" () is an ancient French term historically equivalent to " fore-town" (now often termed suburb or ). The earliest form is , derived from Latin , 'out of', and Vulgar Latin (originally Germanic) , 'town' or 'fortress'. CeresByen (English: ''CeresCity'') is a neighbourhood in Midtbyen, a district of the city of Aarhus, Denmark. It is a mixed residential and commercial area, comprising the site of the former Ceres Brewery operating here from 1856 until November 2008. The outer edges of CeresByen are defined by the streets ''Thorvaldsensgade'', ''Silkeborgvej'', ''Dollerupvej'' and ''Ceres Allé''. The neighbourhood is characterized by densely situated apartment buildings, high-rises, and an open public park along the Aarhus River.
