Árdscoil La Salle, Raheny
Ardscoil La Salle, "De La Salle' or "The Della" as it is referred to by staff and students, is a co-educational voluntary Catholic secondary school located on the Raheny Road in Raheny, Dublin, Ireland. History Ardscoil La Salle was founded in 1968 by the De La Salle Brothers, who had a residential base next door. The first Principal was Brother Cadogan and on his retirement Brother Benignus was appointed as Principal. Originally an all-boys school, it became co-educational in 1978, following initiatives by the Department of Education, and at this point the Marist Sisters joined the staff. It is a school in the De La Salle tradition sharing the mission of human and Christian education of young people. Raheny () is a northern suburb of Dublin, Ireland, halfway from the city centre to Howth. It is centred on a historic settlement, first documented in 570 CE ( Mervyn Archdall). Graham Dale, born January 1978 in Dublin, Ireland, was a US Marine, later a network engineer and writer. Martin King (born 7 April 1963) is an Irish broadcaster who was the Monday to Thursday co-host of ''The Six O'Clock Show'' on Virgin Media One (formerly TV3) and presents his own radio show on Saturday Mid Morning on Q102. King was TV3's first ever weather anchor when it launched back in 1998. Career King got involved in radio when he was 15 years old working for pirate radio stations including Big D and Sunshine 101.
