Ángela María Téllez-Girón y Duque de Estrada, 16th Duchess of Osuna, GE (1925–2015) was a Spanish noblewoman. She was a holder of ten grandeeships of Spain. Early life Ángela María Téllez-Girón was born on February 7, 1925, to Mariano Téllez-Girón y Fernández de Córdoba, fifteenth Duke of Osuna, and Petra Duque de Estrada y Moreno. Marriages and Issue On October 26, 1946, she married Pedro de Solís-Beaumont y Lasso de la Vega of the Marquises of Valencina and the Marquises of las Torres de la Presa. They were married in Espejo, Spain. The couple had two children: Ángela María de Solís-Beaumont y Téllez-Girón (XVII Duchess of Arcos), and María de la Gracia de Solís-Beaumont y Téllez-Girón (XIX Duchess of Plasencia). Duke Of Osuna
Duke of Osuna is a Spanish noble title that was first awarded in 1562 by King Philip II of Spain to Pedro Girón de la Cueva, (Osuna, Seville, 29 July 1537 – 1590). Pedro was also Viceroy of Naples, (1582–1586), Ambassador in Portugal and 5th Count of Ureña. The fortunes of the town of Osuna started to rise in the mid-15th century. At that time, Osuna was ruled by Pedro Girón Acuña Pacheco, the younger brother of Juan Pacheco. His son Alfonso Téllez-Girón de las Casas was elevated to Count of Ureña in 1464 by King Enrique IV of Castile. The dynasty's influence increased, obtaining the title of Duke of Osuna in 1562. Osuna became the Andalusian capital of the domains of the Téllez-Girón family, who carried the ducal title. Marquess Of Villena
Marquess of Villena ( es, Marqués de Villena) is a hereditary title in the Peerage of Spain, granted in 1445 by John II to Juan Pacheco, Grand Master of the Order of Santiago and later also 1st Duke of Escalona. It was originally founded as a seigniory in the thirteenth century by Ferdinand III of Castile for his youngest son, Don Manuel. In 1369, the estate was elevated to a marquisate, the first such designation in Castile, and awarded to Don Alfonso of Aragorn. However, the title was not hereditary and in 1395 it reverted back to the crown of Castile. From that point, Villena had a complicated history of awards and reversions back to the crown until John II granted it as a hereditary title to Juan Pacheco in 1445. Duke of Arcos ( es, Duque de Arcos) is an hereditary title in the Peerage of Spain, granted by Isabella I in 1493 to Rodrigo Ponce de León, then 4th Count of Arcos. Duke of Gandía ( ca-valencia, Ducat de Gandia, ) is a title of Spanish nobility that was first created in 1399 by Martin of Aragon and granted to Alfonso of Aragon and Foix. It has its origin in the Manorialism, lordship of Gandía created in 1323 by James II of Aragon. Later, having no direct descendants, the title passed from the House of Barcelona to the House of Trastámara. The title was re-established in 1483 by Ferdinand II of Aragon as a favour to Pope Alexander VI, Cardinal Rodrigo Borgia for his son Pier Luigi Borgia, Pedro Luis (Pier Luigi de Borgia).
