Ángel Pérez García
Ángel Pérez García (16 October 1957 – 16 October 2019) was a Spanish football defender and manager. Playing career Born in Madrid, García joined Real Madrid's youth setup in 1973 at the age of 16, after impressing in a trial. He played his first professional match on 3 September 1978, appearing with the reserves in a 1–2 away loss against AD Almería in the Segunda División. García was promoted to the first team in April 1980, and made his La Liga debut on the 5th by replacing injured Goyo Benito in a 1–0 home victory over Sporting de Gijón. After appearing in only ten league matches during the following campaign, he was loaned to second level club Real Murcia. García subsequently returned to Real Madrid in the summer of 1982, and was sold to Elche CF also of the second division. La Condomina is a multi-use stadium in Murcia, Spain. The stadium holds 6,500 spectators and it is currently used mostly for football matches and music concerts. Real Sporting de Gijón, S.A.D. Gregorio "Goyo" Benito Rubio (21 October 1946 – 2 April 2020) was a Spanish footballer who played as a central defender. He spent most of his 16-year professional career with Real Madrid. Club career Benito was born in El Puente del Arzobispo, Province of Toledo, Castile-La Mancha. After practicing track and field in his early teens, inclusively being national javelin throw champion at school level, he signed for La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid in the summer of 1963, aged nearly 17. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
