Álex De La Iglesia
Alejandro "Álex" de la Iglesia Mendoza (born 4 December 1965) is a Spanish film director, screenwriter, producer and former comic book artist. De la Iglesia's films combine grotesque and very dark elements such as death and murder: most of his works are considered dark comedies, but are also often considered to have horror and/or drama elements. All his films, with the notable exceptions of '' The Last Circus'' (2010) and '' As Luck Would Have It'' (2011), were written together with Jorge Guerricaechevarría. The 67th annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 9 to 18 February 2017 with Dutch filmmaker Paul Verhoeven as President of the Jury. '' Django'', directed by Etienne Comar, opened the festival. David Lynch
David Keith Lynch (born January 20, 1946) is an American filmmaker, visual artist and actor. Barry Gifford (born October 18, 1946) is an American author, poet, and screenwriter known for his distinctive mix of American landscapes and prose influenced by film noir and Beat Generation writers. Gifford is best known for his series of novels about Sailor and Lula, two star-crossed protagonists on a perpetual road trip.
