Zone D'exploitation Contrôlée
A ''zone d'exploitation contrôlée'' (in French; acronym ZEC) is a "Controlled harvesting zone" located in public lands areas of Quebec, in Canada. ZECs are a system of territorial infrastructures set up in 1978 by the Government of Quebec to take over from private hunting, fishing and trapping clubs (as a result of "Operation wildlife management") to provide timely access to recreational activities to the general public like hunting and fishing. Administration They are non profit organisations managed by honorary administrators whose primary responsibility is to manage fishing and hunting activities and see to wildlife conservation on their respective territories. Zec Borgia
The ZEC Borgia is a "zone d'exploitation contrôlée" (controlled harvesting area) (ZEC) located in La Tuque (urban agglomeration), in administrative region of Mauricie, Quebec, Canada. This hunting and fishing is administered by the Association de chasse et de pêche Asitabec inc (Association of Hunting and Fishing Asitabec Inc). This zec is entirely a forested area with wildlife vocation. Toponymy His name contains the Lake and the Township of Borgia, named in honor of Joseph Le Vasseur Borgia, a member of Lower Canada parliament from 1808 to 1819 and from 1824 to 1830. Geography Zec Borgia is located 35 km north of La Tuque or at km 145 of the Quebec Route 155. The docking station # 1 is located 500 meters from Highway 155, # 147 mileage. Zec Collin
The ZEC Collin is a "zone d'exploitation contrôlée" (controlled harvesting zone) (ZEC) located in the unorganized territory of Lac-Matawin, in Matawinie Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Lanaudière, in Quebec, in Canada. This ZEC is administered by "Association chasse et pêche Collin Inc". The area economy is based on forestry and recreational and tourism activities. Geography Collin ZEC occupies an area of inside the unorganized Lac-Matawin territory. Its territory is entirely in the forest. Collin ZEC is bordered to the west by the Rouge-Matawin Wildlife Reserve, which is located north of the Mont-Tremblant National Park. The zec Boullé is located northwest of Zec Collin.
