Zeitraumexit
zeitraumexit (registered association) is an artist centre in Mannheim. The non-profit association and independent institution organizes, curates and (co-)produces exhibitions, performances, theatre, video art and installations. History zeitraumexit came into being in 2000, as a result of the merger between ''Zeitraum für Büro und Kunst'' and ''EX!T Ausgangspunkt Theater''. “The quartet represents extraordinary, international art projects in the region which unite visual and performing arts ever since.” The founding members are the artists Gabriele Osswald (performance, visual arts), Wolfgang Sautermeister (performance, visual arts), Elke Schmid (director) and Tilo Schwarz (drawing, set & lighting design), as well as the members of the executive board Manfred Ziegler, Peter Empl and Gerhard Schöneberger. Mannheim

Biennale
Biennale (), Italian for "biennial" or "every other year", is any event that happens every two years. It is most commonly used within the art world to describe large-scale international contemporary art exhibitions. As such the term was popularised by Venice Biennale, which was first held in 1895. Since the 1990s, the terms "biennale" and "biennial" have been interchangeably used in a more generic way - to signify a large-scale international survey show of contemporary art that recurs at regular intervals but not necessarily biannual (such as triennials, Documenta, Skulptur Projekte Münster). Genco Gulan
Genco Gulan ( (born 1969 in Turkey) is a contemporary conceptual artist and theorist, who lives and works in Istanbul. His transmedia contextual work involves painting, found objects, new media, drawings, sculpture, photography, performance and video. His work often carries political, social and/or cultural messages. He describes his work as idea art. Genco Gulan studied Media at The New School, New York. Ingrid Mwangi
Ingrid Mwangi (born 1975) is a German artist, of Kenyan-German descent. She works with photography, sculpture and in multimedia, performance, and installation art. In 2005, she co-founded ''Mwangi Hutter.'' Early life and education Ingrid Njeri Mwangi was born in 1975 in Nairobi, Kenya to a German mother and a Kenyan father. She moved to Germany at the age of 15. She attended Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken, Germany, from 1996–2002. Hebbel Am Ufer
The Hebbel am Ufer (HAU) is a theater and international performance center based in Berlin. It was founded by combining three theaters in Kreuzberg, Berlin: Hebbel Theater (now called HAU1), Theater am Halleschen Ufer (theater at Hallesches Ufer) (now called HAU2) and Theater am Ufer (now called HAU3). Annemie Vanackere has been its artistic director since 2012. Giessen
