"Yay Yay" is a song by American hip hop recording artist Schoolboy Q, released on April 16, 2013 as the first song in promotion of his major-label debut album, ''Oxymoron'' (2014). The song charted at number 49 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in January 2014 after being put up with the album's pre-order. It was ultimately included as an iTunes exclusive bonus track on the digital deluxe edition of the album. Background Schoolboy Q first premiered the song on March 22, 2013. It was produced by Canadian record producers Boi-1da and The Maven Boys. The song was described by Schoolboy Q as a "coming of age drug tale." On April 16, 2013 "Yay Yay" was released as a digital download as the album's first single. In a March interview with '' Vibe'', after the interviewer referred to the song as the album's first single, Schoolboy Q stated " Yay Yay"is not a single, but it's a record we put out there." Motorpsycho (band)
Motorpsycho is a Norwegian rock band from Trondheim. Their music can generally be defined as progressive or psychedelic rock, but they also mix in elements from alternative, jazz, post-rock, pop, country and many other musical styles. The members of the band are Bent Sæther (born 18 February 1969, bass/vocals), Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan (born 31 December 1969, guitar/vocals) and Tomas Järmyr (drums). Until March 2005, Håkon Gebhardt (born 21 June 1969) was the band's drummer. From December 2007 to May 2016 Kenneth Kapstad was the drummer of the band, being replaced by Tomas Järmyr, who joined in early 2017. The Bouyei language (autonym: Haausqyaix, also spelled ''Buyi'', ''Buyei'' or ''Puyi''; ; vi, tiếng Bố Y or ) is a language spoken by the Bouyei ethnic group of Southern Guizhou Province, China. Classified as a member of the Northern Tai group in the Tai language branch of the Tai–Kadai language family, the language has over 2.5 million native speakers and is also used by the Giay people ( vi, Giáy) in some parts of Vietnam. There are native speakers living in France or the United States as well, which emigrated from China or Vietnam. About 98% of the native speakers are in China. Bouyei's characteristics are similar to the other members of its language branch. It is generally monosyllabic and word order and particles are the main forms of grammar. Bouyei's syllable initials match up closely to the other Northern Tai languages, with relatively fast simplification and merging.
