The Wrestling events for the 2010 Commonwealth Games were held on Indira Gandhi Arena from 5 to 10 October 2010. Unlike other major wrestling events only one bronze medal was awarded per event. Wrestling is a series of combat sports involving grappling-type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. Romeo Montague () is the male protagonist of William Shakespeare's tragedy ''Romeo and Juliet''. Ravinder Singh Sangwan (born 3 September 1982, in Kharman, Haryana, India) is a Greco-Roman wrestler. Singh has won 15 national championships and gold medals in the 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011 Commonwealth Wrestling Championships. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, he won a gold in the Men's Greco-Roman 60 kg wrestling category. At the 2010 Asian Games he won a bronze medal in the same category. Joginder (real name Joginder Shelly) was an Indian actor, director, producer, writer, singer, songwriter and distributor. Leon Rattigan (born 4 October 1987) is a British freestyle wrestler who is in the Great Britain national squad. He started Freestyle Wrestling at the age of ten in Bristol Olympic Wrestling Club under the late legendary coach Amir Esmaeli. Korey Jarvis (born October 4, 1986) is a Canadian wrestler who most notably won a gold medal in the 125 kg category in men’s freestyle wrestling at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
