Michael Manning Weatherly Jr. (born July 8, 1968) is an American actor, producer, director, and musician, known for playing the roles of Anthony DiNozzo in the television series '' NCIS'' (2003–2016) and Logan Cale in '' Dark Angel'' (2000–2002). Stephen Dian Weatherly (born March 19, 1994) is an American football defensive end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Vanderbilt. Having nearly completed his degree, Weatherly declared as an early draft entrant following his junior season. He was drafted by the Vikings in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft, and played for the Carolina Panthers in 2020. James Dexter Weatherly (March 17, 1943 – February 3, 2021) was an American singer-songwriter who wrote mostly pop and country music. He played quarterback at the University of Mississippi while also writing music with his own bands. He subsequently chose songwriting over a football career. His notable songs include "The Need to Be" and " Midnight Train to Georgia". Early life Weatherly was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi, on March 17, 1943. He attended Pontotoc High School, where he was an all-star quarterback for the school's football team. He also started writing songs and formed his own bands during this time. Joseph Herbert Weatherly (May 29, 1922 – January 19, 1964) was an American stock car racing driver. Weatherly was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2009 after winning NASCAR's Grand National Series championships in 1962 and 1963, three AMA Grand National Championships, and two NASCAR Modified championships. Richard Weatherly OAM (born 1947) is an Australian environmentalist and artist specialising in natural history subjects, especially birds. Weatherly spent his childhood on a sheep and cattle station in western Victoria. While he was studying at Cambridge University he began his career as a wildlife artist with an exhibition of wood carvings at the Moreland Gallery in London in 1969. Frederic Edward Weatherly, KC (4 October 1848 – 7 September 1929) was an English lawyer, author, lyricist and broadcaster. He was christened and brought up using the name Frederick Edward Weatherly, and appears to have adopted the spelling 'Frederic' later in life. Weatherly is a borough in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. It is part of Northeastern Pennsylvania and is located northwest of Jim Thorpe and south of Wilkes-Barre. The population was 2,525 at the 2010 census. History Originally called "Black Creek", it received a name change to "Weatherly" in 1848. Clock-maker David Weatherly, also an executive of the Beaver Meadow Railroad, made an agreement with the town that he would build them a clock if they would rename the town "Weatherly". They changed the name of the town to Weatherly, however David Weatherly returned to Philadelphia to be treated for cancer and died before he could build the promised clock. Charles and Eurana Schwab funded the clock that was built into the clock tower on top of the town's school, but the town kept the name Weatherly. ''Weatherly'' (US 17) is a 12-metre racing yacht that was an unsuccessful defense candidate for the 1958 America's Cup and victorious defender in the 1962 America's Cup. Design ''Weatherly'' is a keel sloop designed to the 12-metre Rule. She was designed by Philip Rhodes and built by Luders Marine Construction Company at Stamford, Connecticut in 1958 for a syndicate of owners formed by New York Yacht Club members Henry D. Mercer, Cornelius S. Walsh and Arnold D. Frese. Her construction consists of African mahogany double planking on white oak frames. Framing is on 10" centers, with two minor steam bent frames between each laminated major frame. Ring frames, hanging knees, mast step, floor timbers, and all fasteners are of bronze. The Weatherly Building in Portland, Oregon, is a 12-story commercial office building. It was built in 1927–28 by ice cream businessman George Warren Weatherly. and had an ice cream shop on its ground floor. An employee of Weatherly's, F. A. Bruckman, invented and patented the first successful cone manufacturing machine. Architecture The Weatherly building has Romanesque Revival architecture, Romanesque brick and Glazed architectural terra-cotta, terra cotta embellishments, including an arcade of arches near the roof.
