Vitaminsforyou
Vitaminsforyou is a Canadian electronic music project led by Bryce Kushnier, an early performer the “lo-fi bedroom electronics” genre of music. Originally based in Winnipeg, the band currently operates from Toronto, Ontario. History Kushnier began creating music in 1998, using his home computer to fuse electronica, acoustic folk, and psychedelia. He later toured Canada, performing alone or with backup musicians. He has worked with Lullabye Arkestra, Mitchell Akiyama, Emm Gryner, Ghislain Poirier, Montag, Hexes and Ohs and Mike Feuerstack. He has also played for Winnipeg and Toronto filmmakers Matthew Etchies and Elvis Prusic and has created scores for Montreal choreographers Andrew Tay, Sasha Kleinplatz and Dana Michel. Winnipeg () is the capital and largest city of the province of Manitoba in Canada. Mike Feuerstack
Michael Feuerstack is a Canadian indie rock musician, who has been associated with the bands Wooden Stars and Snailhouse. Snailhouse was essentially a solo project with multiple contributing artists, including Julie Doiron of Eric's Trip, with production work by Jeremy Gara of The Arcade Fire. Records from Snailhouse have been released on White Whale Records, Forward Music in Canada, Lunamoth, Rhythm of Sickness, Grand Theft Autumn, Unfamiliar Records and Scratch Recordings labels. In 2012, Feuerstack announced that he was retiring the Snailhouse name, and would be releasing future music under his own name. His first album as Michael Feuerstack, ''Tambourine Death Bed'', was officially released on May 7, 2013. Do Make Say Think is a Canadian instrumental band formed in Toronto, Ontario in 1995. Their music combines jazz-style drumming, distorted guitars and wind instruments, and prominent bass guitar. Biography The band formed in 1995 as a recording project for a Canadian youth dramatic production. They rehearsed for the production in an empty elementary school room. The four simple verbs 'Do', 'Make', 'Say' and 'Think' were painted on walls of the room, and the band adopted them as their name. In 1996, the band progressed as they practiced in the rehearsal room in the basement of the University of Toronto radio station CIUT. Dana Michel
Dana Michel (born in Ottawa) is a choreographer and performer based in Montreal. She is part of the contemporary dance company Par B.L.eux founded by Benoît Lachambre. Biography Prior to her dance career, Dana Michel was a marketing executive, competitive runner and football player. She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in contemporary dance from Concordia University in 2006. In 2018, Michel became the first contemporary dance artist in residence at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canada. She also completed a residency at Usine C, in Montreal. Her first solo performance Yellow Towel was listed in 2013 as one of the "Top Five" dance moments in Voir magazine (Montreal) and among the "Top Ten" in Dance Current magazine. Hexes & Ohs is a Canadian electronic indie pop group from Montreal, Quebec. Their sound combines 1980s inspired beats and synthesizer sounds with indie pop structures and melodies. They have released three albums since 2005 and have opened for many artists such as Tokyo Police Club, Sloan, and Mates of State. The two members of Hexes and Ohs consist of Edmund Lam and Heidi Donnelly, who were high-school sweethearts who experimented and created their own musical sound.
