Jeff Uren
Jeffery Macandrew-Uren (17 October 1925 – 6 April 2007), was a British engineer, racing driver, race team manager, tuner, customiser, and entrepreneur. He won the British Saloon Car Championship in its sophomore year. He was a driver and team manager for Ford Motor Company's rallying efforts, team manager with John Willment's racing division, and team manager for AC Cars' 1964 Le Mans team. He later created a series of performance-oriented engine-swapped custom Ford models. Early years Uren was born on 17 October 1925 in Brentford, Middlesex. He had four siblings. He was raised in Cornwall, and was of Cornish descent. While working for Ruston-Bucyrus demolishing World War II (WWII) air raid shelters in London, Uren met demolition contractor Charles Willment. Richard Uren (26 February 1926 – ) was a rugby union player who played for Waterloo R.F.C. and represented the England national rugby union team four times. He represented Cheshire at both rugby union and golf and was also a successful racing sailor. Biography Uren was born at West Kirby on the Wirral Peninsula.. Harold John Uren (23 August 1885 – 7 April 1955) was an English association football, footballer who played as a midfielder for Liverpool F.C., Liverpool in The Football League. Uren started his career in the reserves at Liverpool and progressed through the ranks to the first team as an amateur. He appeared sporadically during his first three seasons at the club making six appearances during that time, also making appearances at Wrexham A.F.C, Wrexham at the end of the 1906–07 season. He was also part of Great Britain's squad for the Football at the 1908 Summer Olympics, football tournament at the 1908 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches.
