Tore André Flo
Tore André Flo (born 15 June 1973) is a Norwegian former professional football striker and coach who is the manager of 1. divisjon club Sogndal. He was capped 76 times, scoring 23 goals for Norway, and represented his country in 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000, and scored Norway's first goal when Norway won 2–1 against Brazil and advanced to the second round of the 1998 World Cup. During his professional career, he played for Sogndal, Tromsø and Brann in Tippeligaen, before he moved abroad and played for Chelsea. After a successful spell with the English club, he was sold to Rangers for £12 million and became the most expensive Norwegian player. Tore Hamsun
Tore Hamsun (6 March 1912 – 10 January 1995) was a Norwegian painter, writer, and publisher born in Hamarøy. He was the son of the Nobel Prize winning novelist Knut Hamsun and actress Marie Hamsun. At the age of five, his family moved from Hamarøy to Nørholm, a large agricultural property. Like the rest of his three siblings, he showed artistic ability at a young age but was the only one to take up a career in art. In 1933, he began Torstein Torsteinssons painting school and studied at an Art Academy in Munich from 1934 to 1935. Hamsun later completed studies at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo and debuted as a painter in 1940. Tore Brunborg (born 20 May 1960) is a Norwegian jazz musician and composer who plays saxophone. He was born in Trondheim but grew up in Voss where a jazz environment was flowering. Tore Gjelsvik (7 September 1916 – 23 January 2006) was a Norwegian geologist and polar explorer. He headed the Norwegian Polar Institute from 1960 to 1983, and played an important role in the Norwegian resistance during World War II. Personal life Gjelsvik was born in Bodin as the son of Eystein Gjelsvik and Lina Relling. He finished his examen artium at Oslo Cathedral School in 1936, and started thereafter studying at the University of Oslo. He graduated in 1942. He married Anne Marie Skaven in 1945. Tore Hedin (7 January 1927 – 22 August 1952) was a Swedish mass murderer and police officer. The act perpetrated by Hedin, commonly known as ''Hurvamorden'', is infamous for being the worst known act of spree killing in Swedish criminal history, and for the fact that Hedin, as a police officer, had been assigned to investigate his own first murder for an extended period. Hedin also employed a medium, itself unique for a Swedish homicide investigation. First crimes Tore Hedin was born in Stora Harrie, Scania, near Kävlinge. He committed his first crime in September 1943, when he broke into a local brewery near his parental home to steal some oats. Tore Forslund (26 February 1927–15 March 2000), also known as Spökprästen ("the ghostpriest"), was a writer, poet, Lutheran priest, street musician, and editor of the magazine ''A Voice Crying in the Wilderness'', that he founded 1957. Biography Tore Forslund was born 26 February 1927 in Krylbo, Sweden. His mother was an officer in the Salvation Army, and his father was a post office employee. Tore Brovold (born 12 June 1970) is a Norwegian sport shooter competing in Skeet. Brovold was one of the Norwegian athletes competing in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he won a silver medal. Later the same year, he won the 2008 ISSF World Cup Final. Brovold started shooting in 1977, when he was only 7 years, and participated in his first competition two years later. He began skeet shooting in 1996.
