Gävle
Gävle () is a city in Sweden, the seat of Gävle Municipality and the capital of Gävleborg County. It had 77,586 inhabitants in 2020, which makes it the 13th most populated city in Sweden. It is the oldest city in the historical Norrland (Sweden's Northern Lands), having received its charter in 1446 from Christopher of Bavaria. However, Gävle is far nearer to the greater Stockholm region than it is to most other major settlements in Norrland and has a much milder climate than associated with said region. In recent years, the city has received much international attention due to its large Yule Goat figure made of straw - the Gävle Goat. The goat is erected in December each year and is often subsequently vandalized, usually by being set on fire. The goat has now become a symbol for the city and is being used for various marketing purposes. History It is believed that the name ''Gävle'' derives from the word ''gavel'', meaning river banks in Old Swedish and referring to th ...

''Voyage'' is the debut studio album by Swedish synth-pop duo The Sound of Arrows, released in the United Kingdom on 7 November 2011. The album was released as a double 12" vinyl in 2016. Critical reception Krystina Nellisi of Drowned in Sound said "In opener 'Into The Clouds' a keyboard organ mode announcing their arrival into The World of Pop, the first line is filled with hope, longing and sheer despair all. Unlike most of its current competitors, for all its studied poise, 'Voyage' has a refreshing complete lack of cynicism. Dan Martin of the ''NME'' awarded the album eight out of ten, described the album as "'Voyage' is just that in the finest of senses, gliding you through its phases in metallic pastel shades from romantic euphoria (‘Magic’), the crush of heartbreak ('Hurting All The Way') through to an epic close ...

Nova (The Sound Of Arrows Song)
''Nova'' is the second single by Swedish duo The Sound of Arrows. The singer of The Sound of Arrows, Stefan Storm, described what this song is about: "It’s a song that we actually struggled with a fair bit in its creation. It just wouldn’t sit right and we’ve got at least three different productions of it lying around on the computer, but it’s finally seeing the light. I’m very happy with how the lyrics came out in the end, the second verse especially." ''Nova'' is about escapism, which is quite a common theme for The Sound of Arrows – kind of what the whole album is about: wanting something better when you're stuck in a rut and just driving toward an ideal. Sometimes, it can be great because it can get you places, but it's sometimes like you're diluting yourself into thinking that there is always something better out there. It goes both ways. It's somewhat like hope but still there is a part of hopelessness. Video clip There is a real cave in the video; it's a ...
