The First Slayer
A Slayer, in the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' and ''Angel'' (both created by Joss Whedon), is a young woman bestowed with mystical powers that originate from the essence of a pure-demon, which gives her superhuman senses, strength, agility, resilience and speed in the fight against forces of darkness. She occasionally receives prophetic dreams in the few hours that she sleeps. The opening narration in the Buffy series states "''Into every generation a slayer is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer.''" Buffy Summers
Buffy Anne Summers is the title character of the '' Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' franchise. She first appeared in the 1992 film '' Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' before going on to appear in The WB/UPN 1997–2003 television series and subsequent 1998–2018 Dark Horse and 2019–present Boom! Studios comic series of the same name. The character has also appeared in the spin-off series ''Angel'', as well as numerous expanded universe materials such as novels and video games. Faith Lehane is a fictional character created by Joss Whedon for the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV series), Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. Fray (comic)
''Fray'' is an eight-issue comic book limited series, a futuristic spin-off of the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. Written by ''Buffy'' creator Joss Whedon, the series follows a Slayer named Melaka Fray, a chosen one in a time where vampires (called "lurks") are returning to the slums of New York City, and the rich-poor divide is even greater. Volume one is drawn by Karl Moline (pencils) and Andy Owens (inks). The series was published by Dark Horse Comics beginning in 2001, with delays between the first six and the final two issues caused by Whedon's TV commitments, during which Moline illustrated '' Route 666'' for CrossGen Comics. After the series' conclusion in August 2003, a trade paperback collecting the whole series was also published by Dark Horse. Karl Moline
Karl Moline is a comic book artist and the co-creator (along with Joss Whedon) of Fray. He provided the artwork for Fray, as well as the associated Fray-centric story in Tales of the Slayers. In 2001 he signed an exclusive contract with CrossGen where he pencilled the horror book Route 666. Following CrossGen's closure, he returned to mainstream comics providing pencils on a 2004 run of Marvel's Rogue and partnering with writer C. B. Cebulski on Marvel's limited series The Loners. In 2008 he returned to Dark Horse and Buffy to pencil the Fray storyline in Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight #16-19 "Time of Your Life". Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season Eight
''Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight'' is a comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics from 2007 to 2011. The series serves as a canonical continuation of the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'', and follows the events of that show's final televised season. It is produced by Joss Whedon, who wrote or co-wrote three of the series arcs and several one-shot stories. The series was followed by ''Season Nine'' in 2011. Andrew James Owens (born 15 October 1989) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for Macclesfield. Career Born in Liverpool, Owens began his career with his home town club Liverpool but later moved to Stoke City.
